This luxury, dog friendly, self catering holiday accommodation in Uig, Isle of Lewis is no ordinary place to stay. The building has been carefully transformed from a former tweed weaving workshop and old cow shed. Now a unique, comfortable and cosy cottage for two adults, where you wake to stunning panoramic views.
Alongside being able to stay in such a beautiful environment, both inside and out, staying at the Timsgarry Byre helps to support the work of the Linda Norgrove Foundation. All rental charges go directly to the Foundation. So by having a holiday you can make a real contribution to the charitable work that we do.

The architect designed accommodation is a perfect base to explore the local area. With fantastic views from the house being just one of the many delights to be found here. The unique furnishings and artwork add to the experience, making this a truly one of a kind holiday stay.
You can explore the local area, including the many fabulous beaches, on two electric bikes which are included for use. Or you can simply birdwatch from the comfort of the living room. Eagles are commonplace, and the Byre is the perfect place for star-gazing on clear nights. You might even be lucky enough to see the Aurora Borealis – the Northern Lights.

Perfect for winter stays, thanks in part to its cosy wood burning stove, as well as summer adventures exploring this stunning part of Lewis. Whenever you visit you’re sure of a memorable stay.
The Byre can be booked for 7+ night stays (Friday to Friday) in the summer season, and 3+ night stays in the winter months.
