We are able to send money to Afghanistan by person-to-person transfer, and by using the hawala system. This enables us to fund particular programmes with our Afghan partners.

We support programmes ranging from children’s life-changing surgery to mobile libraries, from school funding to maternal health services, from vocational training to emergency aid. We put emphasis on providing education and incomes for women because we believe that these are most likely to create a lasting change for the country.
We aim to fund projects that demonstrate cultural sensitivity and provide employment for Afghan people wherever possible.
